On Friday morning (27th) we were going to leave Vermont behind and cross straight back into New Hampshire, however we had a change of plans after talking with a ranger and his helpers. They recommended driving north in Vermont to Lake Willoughby before heading to New Hampshire. So we did. It was a beautiful drive and Lake Willoughby was worth the trip.
As we drove the country roads across northern Vermont and New Hampshire, we were listening to Ray Boltz and Damaris Carbaugh singing songs of praise to our Awesome God, and I could see His creative hand at work painting the brilliant oranges, reds, and golds of the fall foliage. I kept thinking of beautiful stained glass windows in autumn colors.

As we neared Berlin in the early evening the reflections on the river were quite incredible.
It was a lovely, colorful day!
We spent the night at the Walmart near Berlin, New Hampshire.
